Place-Dormitory, Ownership, Non-Belonging

2019 - Ongoing

Another factor that draws my attention in the city is the effort to integrate more than necessary with the place where they live in the form of belonging and owning what they belong to. Due to its overcrowded and overflowing structure, residents suffer from problems of fitting into the center of the city. In addition, population movements between borders and identification behaviors with the borders where they live (both house borders and neighborhood borders) also cause these overflows.

Abandoned places, on the other hand, are located at a point in the city beyond all these boundaries and concepts of belonging. As a resident of the city who belong no-one, abandoned to their fate at one point; the abandoned areas are where I feel most belonging and which I define as my place-home are the abandoned places.
